30 June – 13 July 2025
Wimbledon brings in a beloved rhythm to British summer that hums through the air from South West London, carried by the soft thud of tennis balls, the pop of Champagne corks, and a hundred sunhats angled just so. From 30th June to 13th July, the Championships unfold not just on Centre Court, but all across town in conversations, shopfronts, and in those green and white striped souvenirs tucked into handbags on the Tube ride home.
If you are wondering where to stay for Wimbledon in London this season, discreetly tucked-away near Hyde Park, we are perfectly placed to help you experience Wimbledon in a way that is unhurried and quietly indulgent- at the Grounds, watching from afar, or simply soaking in the spirit of the season.
What to Expect Inside the Grounds:
Daffodils in Bloom, and a Familiar Energy
As part of a cherished summer tradition,The Championships take place during the English summer in full swing, with carefully tended gardens and rows of daffodils in bloom across the Grounds. These seasonal touches – subtle, yet unmistakably Wimbledon add to the charm of the setting before you even reach your seat.
Here is a practical list of things to do during Wimbledon beyond the baseline:
Southern Village: Where Fans Gather
This area of the Grounds is one of the liveliest, designed for fans to relax, refresh, and soak up the day. Large screens show live matches, while official partners like American Express Lounge for cardmembers, Emirates & Range Rover activations, Sipsmith Gin Trike & Pergola Bar, and more host elegant experiences.
The Wimbledon Shops
There are three official Wimbledon Shops and five express stalls across the Grounds, stocked with exclusive merchandise. From the iconic towel to rain-friendly layers, everything is curated for both function and collectability.

Dining at Your Pace — Before, After, or Instead of the Match
Match days can be long and good meals matter more than ever when you’re moving between courts, crowds, and the summer heat. At Roseate House London, dining is never rushed or formulaic and for fuelling up before a match or winding down after one, we offer a quiet, elegant alternative to the busy cafés and pop-up stalls.
Our exclusive Wimbledon Afternoon Tea is one of the smaller summer luxuries in honour of the seasonal fervour that takes over the city. Soft Matcha green tea scones, heirloom tomato sandwiches with pesto, and a mousse made with fresh strawberries and custard; Dreamy soft pineapple and lemongrass ganache tucked into delicate tart shells, chocolate macarons with lime and mango, and a pistachio tea cake that is almost too pretty to eat (but you will). With our range of finger sandwiches like the beef pastrami, tarragon and horseradish cream, there is a continuous balance and just enough surprise to keep things interesting.
We really like doing the small things well consistently, quietly, and with care.
A Smart Base for a Classic Season
Wimbledon has its rituals — the strawberries and cream, the queues, the white dress code but the magic, like always, will lie in the moments in-between- a perfectly timed espresso, a pressed collar, a quiet ride through London’s summer streets- and we are here for those moments. If you’re joining us this season, let our luxurious London boutique hospitality be your calm between the sets.
